NFLGaming - Frequently Asked Questions
- Does NFLGaming handicap preseason games?
No, we don’t handicap preseason games. In our view, trying to handicap or bet on these games is simply too risky. These “games” aren’t true competitive events where the overall objective of each team is to win. As a result, they are played completely different from regular season games and can be highly unpredictable. We aren’t willing to jeopardize your money under such circumstances by recommending that you bet on these games.
Does NFLGaming offer premium game packages?
We’re familiar with premium game packages – some handicappers offer them at a higher price than their regular packages because they include additional handicapping selections or their ‘top pick’ of the week. At NFLGaming, we don’t offer such packages. Each week, we post all the NFL football picks we consider to have a high probability of being winners - whether that’s two picks or six picks - whether you’ve purchased a week's membership or signed up for an entire season.
Why don't you rank your football picks?
Actually, we do rank our football picks. However, we rank them before posting them to the site. What you see on the NFLGaming website each week are our top-notch NFL Football Picks – those that we have determined have a high probability of winning. We only offer the best, so if a pick doesn’t rank as one of our top picks we won’t recommend it.
Why do you wait to reveal your weekly NFL picks until the second half of the NFL games start instead of displaying them as soon as the games begin?
The usual practice for handicappers - if they even bother to share their NFL picks with the public - is to display their NFL football picks right after the game(s) start. NFLGaming, however, waits until the second half starts for one major reason – to protect the interests of our members. What do we mean by this? Well, although we’re not always able to accomplish it, we expect to win over 60% of our NFL picks over the course of the NFL season. With a winning percentage that high, it becomes very easy for our winning NFL picks to be ‘hijacked’ for profit. In other words, if we were to reveal to the public the NFL football picks we shared with our members immediately after the game(s) started, there is a possibility that non-members could then use these NFL picks to successfully wager on the second half of NFL games. Of course, the expected winning percentage would be lower considering the smaller time frame wagered on (one half versus an entire game), but by starting with winners from us of over 60%, it’s possible these non-members could be successful. As a result, we wait until the start of second half of the games to reveal what we’ve picked so that our members receive the full value of membership and aren’t undercut by potential ‘hijackers.’
